The trustees and staff of the Wembley National Stadium Trust join with the rest of the country in commemorating the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and send our deepest condolences to her son, King Charles III and other members of the Royal Family.
The Queen was the Patron of the Football Association and was present at Wembley Stadium many times over the years, especially on FA Cup Final afternoons, undertaking the presentation of the cup to the winning captain.
We can express nothing but admiration for her life of service and commitment to the country and the Commonwealth.
