Today Wembley National Stadium Trust announced its formal opening with a photo call at Wembley Stadium. Local stars, Olympic Gold medallist boxer Janes DeGale and England Women’s most capped footballer, Rachel Yankey helped to launch the new charity, together with Trust’s Chairman Lord Toby Harris and the Stadium’s Managing Director Roger Maslin.
Lord Toby Harris Said “This is a fantastic opportunity for local people in Brent to get involved in sport. We are here to help clubs, charities and local organisations to maintain and improve their provision of sports activities. We look forward to working with many of them over the coming years.”
